LSI Chemical to Present at the 23rd Annual National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) Conference Hosted by NLGI-India
Mt Gilead, OH, (April 8, 2021) – LSI Chemical, international oil and fuel additive manufacturer recognized for the company’s innovative additive technology, has been asked to present at this year’s National Lubricating Grease Institute (NLGI) conference by Quality Specialty Chemicals LLP. NLGI India is a chapter of NLGI USA and is located at the Indian Oil Corporation LTD Research and Development Centre in Faridabad. The chapter was formed in 1966 and unlike other major countries where the demand for lubricants has witnessed stagnation, the Indian lubricant market has had 5-7% growth in recent years. The Indian grease market is over 1,000,000 ton/year which is approximately 8 – 10% of total worldwide volume. Total worldwide lubricating grease production is approximately 1.0 million ton/year.
This year’s conference will be held on April 16-17 as a virtual event via Zoom. Todd Cawley, LSI Chemical, and Kevin Adams, LSI Chemical Vice President of Research and Development, will share their presentation at the event titled: Nanotechnology for Greases and Lubricants.
